Bamboo
Bamboo is evergreen tree, it creates hedges that repair from noises, absorbs pollution, dust, CO2 and it produces big quantity of oxygen. The vegetable mass forms a useful habitat for the wildlife, helps the formation of hummus and the chemical equilibrium of the soil. In addition it is a good timber.

Cultivation and processing
Our bamboo sprouts, usable fresh or treated, come from our cultivations both conventional and organic depending on customer’s request. During the thinning and cleaning of the bamboo garden we pick up the reeds according to the size. At this point it starts the cleaning step. The reeds are transported to the Coop. Totem where they are processed. They cut, work , sanitize and pack the straws then they are ready to be sold and distributed.
